My husband and I First time visiting yesterday. There was a wait, but we didn't mind. It was packed, which showed us ppl enjoy coming. Prices were reasonable. Portion sizes were fine. I think we ordered the wrong things. His country fried steak tasted like it was frozen and reheated. Other than that, the food was normal. We'll try lunch next time.
This was my first time at Gritz and I had a good time. The server was great and had great customer service fabulous!!! Most of the good was good but the Mac n Cheese, for me, was not the best and the stuffing was hard hidden by gravy. It was very disappointing, it seem like it was old and they were covering it up…..UGH The cabbage was fire, as well as the fried green tomatoes, fish, and the biscuits. It’s worth another try.
Love grabbing breakfast here. Small mom and pop dinner. Service is always wonderful and food is always delicious. One of my servers even got me hooked on using powdered sugar with my corn nuggets now I can’t have it any other way
The most delicious breakfast, brunch or lunch available in McDonough GA. My waitress Katie suggested the chicken sandwich and onion rings, both from scratch. Yes, hit the spot out of the park. You can taste the difference and the love. The service is amazing throughout the hustle and bustle of the a busy day. Definitely worth the trip.
This place is truly a southern gem. This has to be one of the best breakfast restaurants I've ever been to. **WARNING** - ordering the country sampler will put you in a food coma! It was 3 plates of food and one of the plates had a pancake almost larger than the plate. The service was great and the prices were affordable. I highly recommend if you are in the area! Thanks Gritz family for your hospitality.
This place was recommended by a friend so we went by to have some lunch. My wife get the pork chops with a double side of mac & cheese with some iced tea. I had a ruben & fries with gravy on the side. My drink was water. The server was friendly and the wait for the food was short. We both enjoyed the meal and the prices were reasonable. We left happy and will definitely return to try their breakfast menu.
Some of the best corned beef hash I've had a a cafe. Comes with eggs, bread of choice as well as potatoes, grits or pancake. Absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful from the time we sat down until we left. Definitely give them a try if you haven't. Oh and don't miss out on the banana pudding.
